Left lobe adenoma of the thyroid is not serious and should not be overly worried. It is a benign disease and can be surgically removed if necessary. For simple thyroid adenomas, surgery can be performed under local anesthesia. In case of multiple lesions or large lesions, general anesthesia is also an option. Care should be taken to avoid damage to adjacent tissues during surgery, and pathological examination is routinely performed after surgery. The occurrence of thyroid adenomas is also influenced by the structure of the diet, as the low or lack of iodine in the food affects the metabolism of thyroxine in the body, resulting in localized thyroid follicular hyperplasia and tumor-like lesions, which are manifested as localized bulging masses. Some patients may also experience pain and sudden bleeding within the thyroid adenoma, resulting in a painful localized mass, for which surgery is the primary treatment.
