Generically known as Piperazine phosphate pentalose, pentalose is used for the treatment of ascariasis in children and is an over-the-counter drug. Its dosage is related to the age and weight of the baby, usually it should be taken for 2 days in a row, at bedtime, and the daily dosage should not exceed 12 capsules. 1-3 years old, weighing 10-14 kg, the daily dosage is 5-7 capsules; 4-6 years old, 16-20 kg, the daily dosage is 7-10 capsules; 7-9 years old, 22-26 kg, the daily dosage is 10-11 capsules; 10-12 years old For babies aged 10-12 years, 28-32 kg, the daily dosage is 12 capsules.
