How to supplement dietary fiber

There are two ways to supplement dietary fiber: 1) through food; 2) through health supplements or special medical use formula. For an average adult, it takes 500g of vegetables and 200g of fruits per day to meet the body’s need for dietary fiber. If the dietary fiber is supplemented through health supplements or special medical formulas, 20-30g per day is more suitable, and the intake of dietary fiber can be increased for constipation patients.
