Infants before 1 year old can not eat soy milk, after 1 year old can eat a small amount of soy milk. 1. Infants before 1 year of age, whose gastrointestinal development is not particularly perfect, should be fed mainly with breast milk and milk powder, in which case they cannot eat soy milk. Nutrition of ordinary soy milk powder is different from formula milk and is not recommended as food for infants. Lactose-free soy-based formula should be used under medical supervision. 2. Infants after 1 year of age can eat soy milk in small amounts. For infants who are exposed to soy products for the first time, the amount should be strictly controlled, and for infants who have already been exposed to soy products, they should not eat too much of it to avoid causing indigestion or affecting the intake of other foods. If the infant’s physical condition is special, he/she should communicate with the doctor in time in terms of complementary foods, and try to add some common complementary foods that are easy to digest, to avoid causing allergy or indigestion.
