A fulldome is a bulge at the junction of the cervical and lumbar spine. Bony fulldome may be caused by diseases such as straightening of the curvature of the cervical spine and narrowing of the cervical spinal space. Cervical traction therapy and surgery can be performed. 1. Cervical spine traction therapy: The cervical curvature straightening caused by long term bad posture or long term muscle pulling will lead to abnormal bulging at the junction of cervical and lumbar vertebrae, resulting in bony fulgurations. Cervical traction therapy can be performed, and this treatment plan can widen the intervertebral space, thus relieving the patient’s symptoms. 2. Surgery: Bony fulgurator plexus caused by narrowing of the cervical spinal space can cause insufficient blood supply to the brain, leading to complications such as fainting. Surgery can be performed to remove the vertebrae that are compressing the blood vessels and nerves, thus treating the bony fulgurator plexus and relieving the symptoms of insufficient cerebral blood supply. Seek prompt medical attention for spinal problems to avoid progression of the condition.
