Menstruation in the first month of pregnancy may be caused by ectopic pregnancy, biochemical pregnancy, preterm labor or miscarriage.
1. Ectopic pregnancy: It means that after pregnancy, the gestational sac is deposited outside the uterus and not normally inside the uterus. When the activity of the gestational sac is very low, the lining of the uterus will lack the support of high hormone level, thus it cannot be repaired well, and thus the pregnant woman will have abnormal bleeding like menstruation.
2. Biochemical pregnancy: Biochemical pregnancy may also have a small amount of vaginal bleeding, mainly because the sperm combined with the egg, without entering the uterine cavity, was expelled from the body, the next menstrual period or so, bleeding occurs, and the gestational sac will also flow out.
3. Pre-eclampsia: Pregnant women will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which may be accompanied by mild abdominal pain, and may return to normal if detected in time and treated with birth control.
4. Miscarriage: In the first trimester of pregnancy, because the embryo is not very stable, if a miscarriage occurs, there will be vaginal bleeding, similar to the amount of menstruation, accompanied by abdominal pain, tissue out of the vagina and other symptoms.
Pregnant women are advised to go to the hospital in time when such a phenomenon occurs to avoid accidents.
