Third booster side effects

The third booster shot currently refers to the third booster shot of the new crown vaccine. Side effects generally include systemic reactions such as fever and local reactions such as redness and swelling.

1. Systemic reaction: after vaccination, some vaccinees may have fever, usually low fever, which can be treated by physical hypothermia. If it exceeds 38.5°C, ibuprofen and other medications need to be given as prescribed by the doctor, and at the same time, attention needs to be paid to drinking more lukewarm water.

2. Local reaction: after vaccination, local redness, swelling, pain and hard nodules may appear at the vaccination site. However, these symptoms are often mild and can be relieved by hot compresses.

Adverse reactions caused by the third booster shot are usually mild and can be relieved within 2 to 3 days. If it still cannot be relieved after 3 days, it is recommended to receive examination and treatment in a regular hospital.
