Is orange red a grapefruit?

Tangerine red is a traditional Chinese medicine made from the dried outer layer of the rind of the tangerine and its cultivated varieties in the Brassicaceae family, which is pungent, bitter and warm in nature, and can be attributed to the lung and spleen meridians. Tangerine red is not grapefruit.
The medicinal effects of tangerine red are mainly regulating qi and relaxing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness and resolving phlegm by drying dampness), which are mainly suitable for the treatment of cough and phlegm, food stagnation (the accumulation of food indigested and stagnated in the stomach), injury to wine, vomiting, malaise and lumps and stuffiness.
Tangerine red should not be used in patients with Yin deficiency and dry cough. Adverse effects are not known.
The use of Tangerine Red should be under the guidance of a healthcare professional and should not be used without authorization.
