The best time to have an abortion

The best time for abortion is related to the chosen abortion method and needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. There are two main clinical methods of abortion, namely medication abortion and surgical abortion. If it is determined by ultrasound that the gestational sac is in the uterine cavity and the pregnancy is within 7 weeks, medication abortion can be chosen. The best time to have a medical abortion is within 7 weeks of pregnancy and the smaller the number of days of pregnancy, the better the results of the medical abortion. If the pregnancy is more than 7 weeks but within 10 weeks, anesthesia analgesia technique with negative pressure suction is an option. The best time to perform the procedure is within 7-8 weeks of pregnancy, as the damage to the body increases with the number of weeks of pregnancy. In addition, patients also need to note that although the method of medical abortion is easy and does not require uterine operation, patients must take the medication as prescribed by the doctor, not blindly or on their own, so as not to cause the failure of medical abortion and cause heavy bleeding.
