The healing of distal radius deformity can be treated by non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment and so on.
1. Non-surgical treatment: suitable for patients with lower requirements for functional recovery, as well as poor physical condition, such patients can be immobilized by plaster or splint, and then removed after 6 weeks.
2. Surgical treatment: applicable to patients whose X-ray examination shows deformity of the wrist joint, which will lead to lesions or dysfunctions of the wrist joint and can improve the function of the wrist joint after surgical treatment. Commonly used surgical methods include dorsal extra-articular osteotomy of distal radius, metacarpal extra-articular osteotomy of distal radius, intra-articular osteotomy of distal radius and so on.
