Mercury poisoning is treated as follows depending on the route of poisoning; 1. eating mercury compounds: try drinking milk or egg whites, taking activated charcoal orally, and then call 120 for emergency admission followed by treatment such as gastric lavage, enema, catheterization, intravenous infusion, or even drug to drive away mercury; 2. inhaling high concentration of mercury vapor for a short time: immediate intravenous infusion followed by drug to drive away mercury is recommended. If the above situation occurs, patients are advised to go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the condition.
