At regular doses, acetaminophen tablets have very few side effects. Occasionally, they may cause nausea, vomiting, sweating, abdominal pain, pale skin, etc. In a few cases, atopic dermatitis (rash, itching of the skin, etc.), granulocyte deficiencies, thrombocytopenia, methaemoglobinaemia, anaemia, hepatic and renal impairment, etc. They seldom cause gastrointestinal bleeding.
