Having mycosis fungoides does not necessarily mean that you have AIDS. Mycosis fungoides is a conditional infection caused by Candida albicans, and its cause is directly related to a very low immune system. For AIDS patients, once AIDS enters the pathogenesis stage, a variety of conditional infections may indeed occur, and the causes of its appearance are also very much related to the body’s very low immunity, such as oral candidiasis, mycosis fungoides, Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, cytomegalovirus infection, herpes virus infection, tuberculosis and so on. Mycosis fungoides is not necessarily caused by AIDS, but can also be caused by conditions such as diabetes, blood disorders, tumors, and chronic kidney disease.
