Is the normal temperature range 36.5 to 37.2?

Normal body temperature can still vary depending on the measuring site. Generally commonly selected measurement sites are the oral cavity, rectum, armpit, the most convenient is to measure the temperature of the armpit. For oral temperature, the temperature measured by placing the thermometer under the tongue and keeping the mouth closed for three minutes is the temperature of the oral cavity, with an approximate range of 36.3~37.2°C. For the rectum, a thermometer is usually lubricated, inserted into the rectum, and then observed for about three minutes. The rectal temperature is approximately 0.3 to 0.5°C higher than the oral temperature. The most commonly used is the axillary temperature. For the measurement of axillary temperature, the first step is to shake the thermometer below 35°C, then dry the sweat in the axilla, and measure the axillary temperature with the thermometer for 5~10 minutes. The normal range of the axillary temperature is about 36.1~37°C. Abnormal body temperature should be measured several times. Difficulty in relieving the symptoms or other discomforts should be treated by a doctor.
