The introduction of advanced Swiss-made third-generation combined pneumatic ballistic/ultrasound lithotripter and holmium laser lithotripter has laid a solid foundation for our hospital to carry out minimally invasive treatment of urinary stones. At present, most of the patients who come to our hospital for urinary stones do not need open surgery for stone extraction. The first choice is extracorporeal lithotripsy. For larger, multiple, complex kidney stones, or ureteral stones with adhesion obstruction and large bladder stones, minimally invasive treatment can be implemented through intracorporeal interventional therapy. It greatly shortens the treatment time, saves cost and reduces patient pain.
