What kind of lymph nodes have problems

If the lymph nodes are clearly defined, such as round and granular, and are mobile and painful to the touch, there is a problem. The problem is usually local inflammation, such as inflammation of the lymph nodes in the jaw or neck caused by upper respiratory tract infection, but it is not a big problem. If the palpated lymph nodes are painful to pressure and have an irregular local shape, unclear borders, and low mobility, this may be a more serious problem. It may be a malignant tumor elsewhere that metastasizes through the lymph and results in enlarged lymph nodes, or it may be a cancerous lesion in the primary lymph nodes, which can be identified and diagnosed by local ultrasound. If cancer is highly suspected in the lymph nodes, a puncture biopsy must be performed to confirm the diagnosis.
