Can ca125 be high in pregnancy?

Pregnancy does not usually cause an increase in CA125. Pregnancy is a normal physiological reaction, and changes in hormone levels in the body after pregnancy, such as an increase in blood HCG and progesterone, are normal pregnancy reactions. After pregnancy, there may be early pregnancy reactions, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and possibly frequent urination and abdominal distension. CA125 is a marker of tumor and is usually elevated in cases of ovarian tumor, endometrial cancer, endometrial polyps or pelvic endometriosis. There is no specific relationship with pregnancy, so CA125 will not be elevated during pregnancy. If CA125 is elevated, clinical attention should be paid to the development of other ovarian tumors.
