How long is a course of Zidaxan?

Nitazan, or Thymofaxine for Injection, is used for a 6-month course of treatment when treating chronic hepatitis B, and for a 4-week course of treatment as a vaccine immune response booster.
Thymofaxine for Injection can enhance the body’s immune system, mainly used for chronic hepatitis B and patients with immune impairment. For the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, it should be given twice a week for 6 months without interruption; for the enhancement of immunity, it should be given twice a week for 4 weeks, and the first injection should be given immediately after vaccination.
Its main side effects are injection site discomfort, allergic reactions and respiratory tract injury. Patients with chronic hepatitis B may experience transient transaminase elevations, and liver function should be evaluated periodically during treatment. It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the components of Thymofaxine for Injection, in patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy and in patients with liver failure.
