What are the x-ray signs of osteoarthritis?

X-ray manifestations in patients with osteoarthritis include: 1) hyperplasia, such as the intercondylar ridge of the tibia becoming hyperplastic and pointed; 2) bone redundancy formation at the bone edge; 3) narrowing of the joint space and changes in the biologic force lines of the upper and lower extremities. Different degrees of osteoarthritis are treated in different ways. Clinical treatment methods are divided into conservative treatment and surgical treatment. Conservative treatment, such as medication, acupuncture, manipulation, joint injection of lubricants, etc.; surgical treatment, such as osteotomy, joint replacement, etc., can achieve more satisfactory clinical results.
