Bleeding of tongue is not a sign of liver cancer. There are many reasons for bleeding of tongue, which may be caused by biting when eating, liver disease, abnormal function of spleen and so on, and is not directly related to liver cancer.
1. Bite wound when eating: when people chew food too hard or too fast when eating, they may bite their tongue accidentally, or the surface of food is sharp and scratches their tongue, which leads to bleeding on the tongue surface, they must check the wound in time to make sure whether there are other parts of the body bleeding.
2. Liver disease: some patients with liver disease, in the advanced stage of liver disease, due to blood clotting dysfunction, may also have symptoms of bleeding on the tongue, but it is not necessarily liver cancer, it may be cirrhosis, liver failure and so on.
3. Abnormal spleen function: patients with abnormal spleen function will cause thrombocytopenia and blood clotting dysfunction, resulting in bleeding gums or bleeding spots on skin, etc. Sometimes bleeding appears on the tongue.
Bleeding on the tongue is not necessarily caused by liver cancer, no need to be overly nervous and anxious, find out the cause of bleeding and standardize the treatment.
