How to treat red and painful nostrils

Redness and pain at the nostrils indicate local inflammation. This is often related to repeatedly picking the nostrils with your fingers or blowing your nose hard when you have a cold, because there are more bacteria on your fingers and in your nostrils, which can easily cause nostril infection after contacting your nostrils, and anti-inflammatory treatment is recommended. Firstly, the exudate at the nostril should be cleaned with a cotton swab dipped in saline. Secondly, to wet compress Levanox gauze in the red and swollen position, each wet compress for 20 minutes, twice a day, the gauze plays the role of local anti-inflammatory and swelling. Finally, apply erythromycin ointment or mupirocin ointment to the red and swollen nostril to play an anti-inflammatory role, also twice a day. Do not touch your nostrils with your fingers, do not eat spicy and irritating food, and get plenty of rest.
