Glass cut hand to tetanus?

A tetanus shot is needed for a cut on the hand from glass because in nature, tetanus bacteria and bacilli are found everywhere. Not only rusty nails, but also tetanus bacilli can be found on glass, so a tetanus shot is required after a hand is cut by glass. The first thing to do is to clean the wound and rinse it repeatedly with hydrogen peroxide inside the wound in order to kill any tetanus bacteria that may be present inside the wound, including budding spores as well. After debridement, the wound is disinfected with iodophor and re-sutured, but try not to sew too tightly. If there is exudate inside the wound, it can be drained out through the skin surface. It is also necessary to check carefully for broken glass residue inside the wound and to remove it completely if there is any residue.
