Three Herbs for Deafness and Tinnitus

What are the three Chinese herbs for tinnitus and deafness is still inconclusive, and can be treated with Chinese herbs such as magnetite and calamus. 1. Magnetite is cold in nature, salty in taste, and belongs to the liver, heart and kidney meridians. Its effects are to calm the mind, calm the liver and submerge the yang (inhibit the liver from rising too much yang qi), brighten the ears and eyes, and reduce coughing and wheezing by astringing the qi. Magnetite can be clinically used for the treatment of restlessness, palpitations and insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus and deafness, blurred eyes, kidney deficiency and wheezing (gasping and shortness of breath) and other conditions. Magnetite adverse reactions are not clear, but the drug is cold in nature, should not be taken more, long time to take, and people with weak spleen and stomach should be cautious. 2. Calamus is warm in nature, pungent and bitter in taste, and belongs to the heart and stomach meridians. Its effects are to open up the orifices and dispel phlegm, wake up the mind and benefit the intellect, and dissolve dampness and open up the stomach (normalize gastrointestinal function by dispelling dampness). Calamus can be used to treat phlegm, epilepsy, tinnitus, deafness, insomnia and forgetfulness, dizziness, palpitations, abdominal pain, plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort). Calamus adverse reactions and contraindications are not yet clear. If tinnitus and deafness occur, please go to the hospital for standardized treatment.
