Chronic gastritis belongs to stomach pain and other diseases in Chinese medicine, which can be treated by massaging the acupoints of Foot Sanli, Neiguan and Zhongshu.
1. Foot Sanli: It is an acupoint of the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, located on the outer side of the calf, 3 inches below the calf’s nose. It is a common point used clinically to treat stomach pain, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea and other digestive disorders.
2. Neiguan Point: belonging to the hand syncopal pericardium meridian, located on the palm side of the forearm, 2 inches above the transverse line of the wrist, between the tendon of the palmaris longus and the tendon of the radial flexor carpi radialis. It is used for treating stomach pain, vomiting, eructation (hiccups) and other diseases of the spleen and stomach.
3. Middle Epigastric Point: Belonging to the Ren Chakra and located four transverse fingers above the navel, this point can be used to treat stomach pain, gastric distension, abdominal distension, acid swallowing (swallowing the acid that rushes up to the oropharynx in the stomach), vomiting and other digestive disorders.
It is recommended that patients with chronic gastritis seek medical attention in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, and do not blindly massage the acupoints on your own, so as not to cause damage to the organism.
