Acne Causes and Management

Acne is generally referred to as acne, and the causes may be related to endocrine factors, overpopulation of Propionibacterium acnes and abnormal keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts, etc. It can be regulated by general treatment and medication.
1. Causes: Acne is associated with increased sebaceous gland secretion induced by increased androgen levels, overgrowth of Propionibacterium acnes and abnormal keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts, etc. Abnormal keratinization of follicular openings may lead to obstruction of sebum excretion and induce acne.
2. Treatment: Keep the area clean, have a regular rest and relaxation routine, and avoid spicy and oily diet. Topical medications such as benzoyl peroxide gel, adapalene gel, retinoic acid ointment, fusidic acid cream, azelaic acid and so on can be used under doctor’s guidance. Drugs such as doxycycline, minocycline, and isotretinoin can be taken orally in combination.
