How ischemic neuropathy of the fundus is treated

For ischemic optic neuropathy, medication and surgery are used to reduce optic disc edema and protect the optic nerve.
1.Drug treatment
(1) Glucocorticoid: For arteritis ischemic optic neuropathy, glucocorticoid should be used in early stage, in large amount and systemically, and then the amount should be gradually reduced for more than one month. In non-arteritic cases, glucocorticoids should be used systemically or locally to reduce optic disc edema.
(2) Vasodilators: improve microcirculation.
(3) Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12: to nourish the optic nerve.
(4) Antithrombotic drugs, such as aspirin.
(5) Traditional Chinese medicine (compound camphorine yi superficial para-arterial injection, geranylgeranyl vincristine, lanugin, compound danshen, etc.), acupuncture.
2. Surgical treatment: vitreous cavity injection of glucocorticoids can reduce optic disc edema.
Ischemic optic neuropathy is a more serious acute disease in ophthalmology, and it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for treatment.
