Pain over the right chest is mostly considered intercostal neuritis, pleurisy, trauma, lung tumor and other diseases. 1. Intercostal neuritis: the most prominent manifestation of the onset of pain, pain from the back to the front along the intercostal space in a semi-circular distribution, stinging or burning pain, coughing, deep breathing pain can be aggravated. Patients may also be accompanied by headache, nasal congestion, runny nose and other symptoms. 2. Pleurisy: inflammation occurring in the pleural cavity, manifested by chest pain, chest tightness, etc. Tuberculous pleurisy may also be accompanied by low-grade fever, night sweats and other systemic symptoms. 3. Trauma: impact or extrusion leads to local soft tissue injury or rib fracture, which manifests as chest pain, chest tightness, etc., and the pain will be aggravated when coughing or deep breathing. 4. Lung tumor: if middle-aged or old people with a history of smoking for many years have cough, sputum and chest pain, it can’t be excluded that the pain is caused by lung tumor, especially when the lesion involves the wall pleura, the pain will be more obvious. Right upper chest pain can also be seen in other diseases, it is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals to avoid delaying the condition.
