Cancer Mini Science Series 2

A combination of factors causes cancer Cancer is an extremely complex and long process, and our health reflects the sum of our life experiences. Most cancers occur because of what we have experienced – where we were born, whether we were vaccinated, what we ate, where we lived, what kind of work we did, whether the environment was polluted, whether we received effective treatment when we got sick, and whether we left behind any disease? The chain of our DNA moves slowly with the ratchet of society, and if it suffers too much damage in the process, it will snap like a rubber band. In a way, our body is a mirror of our society and lifestyle, and cancer is the result of a combination of good and bad things in our lives. Everyone has proto-oncogenes The stability of human cells can only be relative and genetic changes in human cells are inevitable and unavoidable, but this does not mean that cancer is insurmountable and people are powerless against it. Pathologists have found that almost everyone has a varying number of cancer cells in their bodies, but most of them are either removed by the body in time or have no ability to divide on their own and remain latent for a long time without harming human health. Medical doctors call these few cancer cells as “microscopic cancer” or “little cancer”. Only a very small number of cancer cells can develop into cancer, and there are often no symptoms at the early stage, and it is often too late to feel discomfort. Therefore, in order to prevent cancer, we must first dare to talk about and face cancer, and not to avoid the disease.
