Steps in artificial respiration

The specific operation steps of artificial respiration are as follows: 1, place the resuscitation position, remove the foreign objects in the mouth and nasal cavity, and keep the airway open; 2, open the airway, press the forehead of the patient with the palm outer side of one hand, and lift up the patient’s jaw with the other; 3, pinch the patient’s nose, inhale a breath, and then blow the gas in mouth-to-mouth for about one second, and observe whether the patient’s thorax is lifted up or down. The volume of gas blowing is 500-600 ml, and the gas is delivered for one second each time, i.e., blowing for one second with a two-second interval, with the chest lifting as effective. Artificial respiration is a key step in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, mainly mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration, mouth-to-nose artificial respiration, supine chest compression artificial respiration and prone chest compression artificial respiration, of which mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration is the most effective.
