17 Symptoms of Dampness

There is no such thing as 17 symptoms of heavy dampness. The common clinical symptoms of heavy dampness include heavy head and body sleepiness (a feeling of heaviness in the head and limbs), loss of appetite, lethargy, white and thick tongue, and tiredness of the limbs. Dampness refers to the disease characterized by a feeling of heaviness due to external dampness or internal dampness caused by dampness attacking the human body. Dampness may be caused by weak spleen and stomach, damp living environment and other factors, and the main clinical symptoms are body weight and waist acidity, sleepiness of the limbs, joint and muscle pain, pain that doesn’t move, poor gastric intake, unfavorable urination (unruly urination), and loose stools. If the patient is suffering from heavy dampness caused by a weak spleen and stomach, he/she can be treated with Ginseng Ling Bai Zhu San and Liu Jun Zi Tang under the guidance of a doctor; if the patient is suffering from dampness in the living environment, he/she should keep the room ventilated.
