Shoulder pain and inability to lift the arm may be caused by excessive exercise, frozen shoulder, cervical spondylosis, myofasciitis, shoulder dislocation, rotator cuff injury and other factors. Patients are not advised to exercise on their own during pain, which may lead to aggravation of the condition.
Patients should seek timely medical treatment and rehabilitation training can be carried out after the condition is stabilized. Common training methods include wall climbing training, wing spreading training, neck stretching training, and so on.
1. Wall-climbing training: the patient stands facing the wall, keeps his arms close to the wall, alternately moves upward without producing pain, does wall-climbing-like movements, and reaches the highest point as far as possible. Record the highest point and gradually increase the height of wall climbing.
2. Spreading the wings method training: the patient stands, both arms straight, to both sides of the lift, perpendicular to the body. Keep it for 10~15 seconds and put it down, repeat the training.
3. Neck stretching training: the maximum range of motion of the neck in all directions for stretching exercises, through stretching exercises, to enhance the flexibility of the cervical spine and joint range of motion.
It is recommended that patients consult a doctor in a timely manner, under the guidance of a professional doctor for treatment, to develop individualized training programs, do not blindly self-training, to avoid the adverse consequences.
