The leukorrhea squamous epithelium (+) is related to the cells of the cervix and the cells of the vagina, because the cells of both the cervix and the vagina are compound squamous epithelial cells. Cell shedding is normal, and a routine leuko test report of squamous cells (+) does not indicate vaginal inflammation or cervicitis, nor does it indicate other abnormal changes. If there are squamous cells (++++) or (++++), it indicates that there is increased shedding of cervical or vaginal mucous membrane cells and there may be cervical inflammation or vaginal inflammation, and cervical TCT or cervical HPV test can be performed. There will be normal lactobacilli or epithelial cells in the vagina. If there is an imbalance of vaginal acidity and alkalinity it may lead to inflammation of the vagina. With inflammation of the vagina, a routine white belt test will indicate an increase in white blood cells and may see changes such as mycobacteria, trichomonas, or the presence of Gardnerella.
