Bismuth pectin is mainly used for chronic gastritis.
Magnesium Aluminum Carbonate Chewable Tablets are indicated for bile acid-related diseases; acute and chronic gastritis; reflux esophagitis; gastric and duodenal ulcers with gastric acid-related gastric discomfort symptoms, such as gastric pain, heartburn, belching (hiccups), fullness, etc., and prevention of gastric mucous membrane damage of non-steroidal drugs.
High doses may lead to soft pasty stools and increased frequency of stools, occasional constipation, dry mouth and loss of appetite and other adverse reactions. Prolonged use may lead to electrolyte changes. Use this drug with caution in severe cardiac and renal insufficiency, hypermagnesemia and hypercalcemia.
Bismuth pectin is a complex of trivalent bismuth and is mainly used for chronic gastritis. There may be feces in the form of lusterless black-brown, but no other discomfort, when it is a normal reaction, after stopping the drug within 1~2 days the color of feces turned to normal. Contraindicated for pregnant women and people with renal insufficiency. Not to be taken with milk.
