What are the side effects of bone piercing on people

Bone puncture can have side effects such as bacterial infection, local bleeding, osteomyelitis and osteonecrosis of the bone.
1. Bacterial infection: If the patient does not have proper sterilization and postoperative care, bacterial infection may occur, resulting in fever and pain as well as weakness.
2. Local bleeding: The bone puncture process may contact and pass through other parts of the patient’s body, such as blood vessels, leading to local bleeding and hematoma. It leads to subcutaneous blood accumulation around the puncture point, or the formation of hematoma around it. If the hematoma is relatively large, there will be fibrosis or local calcification after absorption.
3. Osteomyelitis and bone marrow necrosis: If the patient’s immunity is low, and a large number of viruses or bacteria enter the bone marrow indirectly through the medical equipment during the procedure, osteomyelitis and bone marrow necrosis may occur, resulting in bone marrow necrosis.
If a bone puncture patient experiences any of these side effects, he or she should seek medical attention promptly.
