Pitavastatin Calcium Dispersible Tablets are lipid regulating drugs and can be taken for a long period of time without serious adverse effects. This product can competitively inhibit the endogenous cholesterol synthesis rate-limiting enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, so that cholesterol synthesis is blocked, which leads to a decrease in plasma triglycerides. This product is mainly used in patients with hypercholesterolemia. This product can lead to adverse reactions such as itchy rash, tiredness and numbness, abdominal pain and discomfort. In severe cases, there are adverse reactions such as rhabdomyolysis, muscle pain, hepatic dysfunction, jaundice, thrombocytopenia, and interstitial pneumonitis. Note that patients with severe liver disease or with biliary obstruction are contraindicated. Special populations: contraindicated in pregnancy or during pregnancy and lactation.
