A basically normal colonoscopy indicates a normal bowel, not really. If the stool is not shaped and constipated, there may be intestinal dysbiosis, irritable bowel syndrome, and hyperthyroidism.
A basically normal colonoscopy can rule out organic diseases of the intestines, such as ulcerative colitis, intestinal polyps, intestinal tumors, and so on. If the stool is not shaped and constipation, it means that the intestinal abnormalities may be due to the following factors:
1. Dysbiosis of intestinal flora: harmful bacteria in the intestines multiply more, leading to symptoms such as unformed stool, constipation and flatulence.
2. Irritable bowel syndrome: mental tension, anxiety and stress induce irritable bowel syndrome, causing abdominal pain, change of bowel habit, constipation or diarrhea alternately.
3. Hyperthyroidism: excessive secretion of thyroxine leads to accelerated metabolism in the body, affecting intestinal function, manifested by increased stool frequency or diarrhea, hyperphagia and other symptoms, and no abnormality was found in the colonoscopy.
If discomfort occurs, it is recommended to consult a doctor to identify the cause of the disease and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
