What does BI-RADS level 2 mean?

BI-RADS2 grade refers to the grading of breast nodules by mammography and other means, and BI-RADS2 grade generally refers to benign lesions. BI-RADS is a grading of breast nodule imaging results, usually categorized into grades 0 to 6, with higher grades corresponding to higher degrees of malignancy of the nodule. Usually, BI-RADS grade 2 is a benign lesion, but it still needs to be followed up regularly, usually every 3~6 months, in order to observe the changes of the disease, and to see whether there is any enlargement or malignant transformation of the nodule. If it is found that the nodules are gradually increasing in size or have malignant changes, surgery can be considered to remove the lesions. Patients are advised to consult their doctors according to their specific conditions, follow the doctor’s instructions for regular review, and pay attention to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and not staying up late.
