Imported chemotherapy drugs may have fewer side effects than domestically produced chemotherapy drugs. In particular, chemotherapy drugs produced by small domestic pharmaceutical companies may not be pure enough, so in addition to affecting the efficacy of chemotherapy drugs, patients may also have more side effects after using them. Compared with imported drugs, they are more likely to cause side effects such as allergies, gastrointestinal reactions, and bone marrow suppression in patients. For example, imported oxaliplatin has fewer cases of allergy. Some domestic manufacturers of oxaliplatin, however, have more cases of allergy in patients after use. If the domestic chemotherapy drug is produced by a strong domestic pharmaceutical company, the side effects of the chemotherapy drug may not be significantly different compared to the imported ones.
