Can your child handle the pain of a root canal?

Usually, children can tolerate pain when they have a root canal.
Root canals are usually used for conditions such as pulpitis and periapical inflammation, and are commonly used when there is pulp necrosis and root infection.
Generally, root canal treatment is painless, but it varies from person to person. Local anesthesia is usually used when children undergo root canal treatment, so there will be no special pain during the procedure, but individual sensitive children may experience some pain, but it is also tolerable.
It is usually recommended that the child be psychologically prepared before the treatment to help ease the child’s fear and nervousness. During the root canal treatment, it is recommended that the child should eat light and well-digested food, and should not eat anything too hard, so as to avoid the occurrence of bad results.
