Is it useful to take progesterone tablets for low progesterone?

If low progesterone is detected by screening, oral progesterone tablets are clinically useful. The first is irregular vaginal bleeding in the second half of the menstrual period, or a shortened menstrual cycle. The second clinical manifestation is infertility, which is often found to be caused by low progesterone. Thirdly, if the progesterone is low after pregnancy, it may cause preterm miscarriage or spontaneous abortion. Therefore, it is clinically recommended that if low progesterone is found, timely treatment with progesterone tablets, most commonly progesterone pills, should be taken orally. It is best taken orally after ovulation, 1 time/day, 2 capsules/time, for 10 days, to treat shortened menstrual cycle caused by luteal insufficiency. In the case of antifetus treatment, it should be taken orally according to medical advice in clinical practice.
