Cervical cancer may still recur after 10 years. Malignant tumors have a certain chance of recurrence no matter whether they are treated in early stage or late stage, only the chance of recurrence is different. If it is early stage of cervical cancer and early radical surgical treatment is taken, and it has survived for 10 years now, the chance of recurrence is smaller. If it is the middle or late stage of cervical cancer, due to the spread and metastasis of the tumor, it is often impossible to take radical surgery, and the chances of recurrence will be higher, and the time of recurrence will be earlier. Therefore, after 10 years of cervical cancer, you still have to go to the hospital for regular checkups to observe the changes of your condition and take early treatment once recurrence occurs, so as to avoid delaying your condition.
