Itching out of the anus is a very common clinical phenomenon: first, perianal eczema is considered. Perianal eczema is a disease that is mostly caused by other conditions, mainly internal hemorrhoids, anal papillary fibroids, anal fissures, and rectal mucosal prolapse, which have in common the tendency to exude fluid, leading to excessive oozing. Prolonged exudation can irritate the perianal skin, which can lead to wetness, ulceration, and itching. Patients should treat this disease first, while treating eczema with herbal sitz baths. Secondly, water coming out of the anal opening is considered to be a perianal infection, commonly known as perianal abscess and anal fistula, which will cause significant pain and even bloody discharge. The underlying cause is due to anal gland infection, because the opening of the anal gland is to the top, and it is easy to store feces secondary to infection. Therefore, anal discharge and itching may be caused by perianal diseases.
