Selling fake drugs is something I find quite unethical. My grandfather once bought a bottle of asthma medicine from “Beijing” by mail order after being introduced to him by his next-door neighbor, and excitedly told me that the little powder worked, and that he would soon stop wheezing after taking a spoonful each time. But it only relieved him for a while, and his hands shook a lot after eating the medicine. Later I checked, the approval number of the drug is all fake! There are too many shady businesses, and the market is not strictly regulated, so there are always loopholes for them to exploit. Then how to do, their own identification, mainly “look, smell, ask questions, cut” four moves! Look: sweep what is written on the outer packaging A glance at the outer packaging of drugs, you can identify some fake drugs, which is not too difficult to do. Need to look at, there are so three points: 1, look at the packaging: the simplest is to look at the packaging (box or bottle label) printing quality, regular manufacturers of pharmaceutical boxes or labels, the font printing is clear, there will be no blurred handwriting. If you find that the printing quality is particularly poor, the text appears a lot of superimposed shadows, you should be suspicious of whether the small workshops produce fake and substandard drugs. 2, look at the name of the drug: some fake drugs will play a reliable-looking front, such as the name of the drug “Park Qi hypoglycemic capsules (sugar BQ)”, which has a big problem. Because according to the regulations, the generic name (Park Astragalus hypoglycemic capsule) and the trade name (sugar BQ) can not be placed on the same line, and the trade name can not be added brackets. 3, look at the batch number: look at the box or bottle label to see whether the “drug name” “specifications” and “production batch number”, these three as long as any one of the missing, it should be suspected of being fake drugs. In addition, the package can also be written “indications,” “dosage,” “storage,” “production lot number” and “manufacturing company” and so on. Now, let’s take a look at the outer packaging of a drug to see what is shown in the red circle, whether it is all said? Fake drugs generally have the following characteristics on the outer packaging: If there are self-promotional words such as “national new drug”, “protected species of Chinese medicine”, “GMP certification”, “imported raw material sub-assembly”, “honorary production”, “award-winning product”, “modern technology”, “precious medicinal materials”, etc., be highly suspicious of fake drugs. Smell: listen to what the instructions say to you After scanning the outer packaging, open the medicine box and look at the instructions to hear what information it tells you. A regular drug manual should tell you “how to use this medicine”, not bragging about “how good this medicine is”. What the hell? Open the box and there is no instruction manual? Then there may be a problem. So what exactly should be “smelled”? 1. Is the content of the manual complete? The regular drug instructions should have ingredients, properties, dosage, adverse reactions, contraindications, precautions, drug interactions, pharmacological effects, expiration dates, implementation standards, etc.. Although the current market regulation is not strict, not every manual can be so strict and detailed. But if a manual, even the “ingredients” “dosage” and “expiration date” are not told you, it is clear that there is a problem. For example, the previous exposure of a popular fake drugs “efficient tendon and bone health capsule”, the instructions are only “approval number”, “manufacturer”, “company address” and “function of the main” four, fake made really simple and crude. 2, is the format of the expiration date standardized? In addition, to see the format of the expiration date, it can be written “valid until 08, 2016”, or as simple as “valid until 2016.08” or “valid until 2016 – 08”. However, please note that there must be a 0 in front of the digit, if a drug is written as “valid until August 2016”. Less than this 0, but also to suspect that there is a problem. We can see that this instruction manual, ingredients, properties, dosage, adverse reactions, contraindications, etc. are there, that is a qualified instructions, the drug is almost not fake. Q: Ask the most authoritative people in the drug, the most authoritative domestic of course is the CFDA, CFDA is the State Food and Drug Administration, all drugs, whether domestic or imported, must be registered here. What is more beneficial to the public is that this huge drug registration database is open and anyone can check it on the official website of CFDA, which is located in the prominent “Data Search” position on the home page. How to check? Check the State Drug Certificate. If you go through the entire drug packaging and instructions can not find the “State Drug Certificate” label, then, the drug is likely to have problems. But now the businessmen will do a fake basic look, printed with a string of letters and numbers. The standard format should be “State Drug Quasi (test) character + 1 letter + 8 digits”, the letters include H, Z, S, B, T, F, J. Among them, H is the most common chemical drugs, Z is a proprietary Chinese medicine, S is a biological product, B is a health drug, T is an in vitro chemical diagnostic reagent, F is a pharmaceutical excipient, J is an imported sub-packaged drugs. There are 8 digits at the back, one more or one less, there are problems. For example, in the position shown in the red box, we can see the “State Drug Certificate”. Next, you can enter this string of numbers into the “data query” section of the CFDA official website, and then compare this approval number with the drug you have: Is the drug name correct? Is the dosage form correct? Are the specifications correct? Is the manufacturer correct? And most importantly, the indications are correct, because fake drugs will generally exaggerate their effectiveness, or list some unwarranted efficacy out. Do not believe that the “health drug health word” beginning of the approval number, this number has long been abolished, and the “national food health word” beginning is not a drug, but only health food. Cut: put a hand on the source of this medicine Simply put, it is to figure out where to buy the medicine from. For example, like my grandfather, after listening to the introduction of people, a phone call with the “distributor”, was told that the pharmacy can not buy, only mail to you, that basic problem. Young people don’t usually choose mail order, but there are many pitfalls online. Don’t believe the self-labeled “official” “flagship” “only designated” slogans of online pharmacies. The key information you are looking for is the “Internet drug trading service qualification certificate number”. A legitimate online pharmacy will have this number prominently marked on the home page, and you will also need to go to the CFDA and enter it for a check. Yes, also in the “data query” column, select “online pharmacy” one. But even qualified online pharmacies are currently not allowed to sell prescription drugs. If you buy it, either the drug is irregular or the store is irregular, it is worth a good suspicion. After all, in fact, in the end one of the most important identification method is: to blow themselves out of the sky, most of them have ghosts. After all, the drug is not a magic potion.
