The effects and efficacy of Guanxin Shengve Wan

Guanxin Shengvewan is a Chinese medicinal preparation with the effects of benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin, generating fluid and activating blood, mainly used for abnormal heart function caused by deficiency of heart Qi and Qi-Yin. Symptoms of myocardial ischemia, such as panic, palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, weakness and dyspnea, can be used to treat manifestations of Qi and Yin deficiency such as coronary heart disease, angina pectoris or arrhythmia. It is mainly composed of ginseng, maitong, wu wei zi, dan shen, red peony, yu jin and san qi, all of which are effective in benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin and invigorating blood stasis. This medicine can also be used to regulate the symptoms of panic, palpitations, stuffiness and pain in the precordial region if there is insufficient blood supply to the heart muscle or usual exertion, insomnia or staying up late. It can be taken for either organic lesions or functional reasons.
