Just because the fever has gone down for herpes pharyngitis doesn’t necessarily mean it’s over. Herpes isthmus is an acute respiratory tract infection, characterized by strong contagiousness, usually caused by enterovirus infection. Herpes pharyngitis itself is a self-limiting disease, the vast majority of cases will be cured in a week’s time, but do not rule out the fact that some patients are more serious, but also may be jeopardized by a number of complications. Fever is one of the common symptoms for herpes pharyngitis patients, usually low or moderate fever, a small number of patients occasionally see high fever, fever usually for 2 to 4 days. However, the fever does not mean that herpes pharyngitis has been cured, and needs to be evaluated in conjunction with other symptoms and relevant examinations. Parents should help their children to do a good job in the prevention and treatment of this disease, and once there is a suspected case of herpes pharyngitis, it is recommended to consult a doctor to avoid delaying the disease.
