Xia Ku Cao is a kind of Chinese medicine, which is the fruit spike of Xia Ku Cao, a plant in the family of Labiatae. It has the effect of clearing the liver and brightening the eyes, dispersing nodules and reducing swelling. It is used for eye redness and swelling pain, night pain of eyeballs, headache and dizziness, scrofula, gall tumors (equivalent to thyroid tumors), breast carbuncle, breast fetish, breast distension and pain.
