Symptoms of tumors on the soles of the feet

Most of the tumors on the soles of the feet may belong to benign lesions, such as hemangiomas on the soles of the feet, and some malignant tumors on the soles of the feet, namely malignant melanomas are more common. There may be no obvious symptoms in the early stage, and hemangioma may show a red lump. In the case of malignant melanoma, there may be a black swelling on the bottom of the foot with no obvious pain or other discomfort, but it may be accompanied by a ruptured lump that repeatedly does not heal. Generally, the nature can be determined through surgery and post-operative pathology. If it is a benign tumor, it is usually removed surgically and the wound heals without problems. However, if the lump grows larger on the bottom of the foot, skin grafting or flap transfer repair will be needed after surgery. If it is a malignant tumor, mostly malignant melanoma on the bottom of the foot, regular review and long-term treatment with bioimmunotherapy as well as targeted drug therapy are required after surgery.
