Avoid indigestible food, and should not be taken by patients with cold and fever. Six-flavored Dihuang Pill is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Poria, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Cortex Eucommiae, Cortex Ovatae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, and Rhizoma Zedoariae, which is nourishing and tonifying to kidney. It is used for kidney yin deficiency, dizziness and tinnitus, lumbar and knee soreness (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the waist and knees), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, sweating stops after waking up) spermatorrhea. Avoid spicy food and should not take cold and flu medicines while taking the medicine. Both Shiquan Dazhuang Pill and Liuwei Di Huang Pill belong to the category of nourishing traditional Chinese medicine, and both contain Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata and Poria, which may cause excessive dosage of medicine if taken at the same time, aggravating the burden on the patient’s gastrointestinal tract, resulting in abdominal pain, diarrhea, stomach distension and other adverse reactions. Therefore, it is not recommended to take the two together, and should not be taken by patients with fever and cold.
