What’s wrong with sleeping with a headache?

Sleeping up with a headache may be physiological factors, but also may be the manifestation of certain diseases, such as colds, cervical spondylosis, vascular and neurological headache, etc., should be timely consultation to identify the cause of the disease.
1. Physiological factors: if you sleep too long, sleep too short, or when you sleep, keep the same position for too long, it is easy to induce headache after waking up.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Colds: most of the colds are caused by viruses, and a small part of the colds are caused by bacteria. Some patients have low immunity, which is more likely to cause colds. Symptoms include nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, fever, cough, headache, etc. Patients with colds often have symptoms such as sleeping up with a headache .
(2) Cervical spondylosis: It is due to the long-term pressure on the cervical spine nerves, which leads to a series of phenomena such as osteophytes, prolapsed discs and thickened ligaments. The cervical spine area is uncomfortable, the back of the neck has pain, dizziness and nausea phenomenon, patients often sleep up headache and other symptoms.
(3) vascular neurological headache: mainly manifested as one or both temples paroxysmal swelling pain, poor sleep quality at night, headache symptoms after sleeping up.
This symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease, and may be caused by other factors. It is recommended that the patient consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
