Gout in Chinese medicine belongs to the category of pain paralysis, calendar joints and so on. It is used for treating gonorrhea (cloudy urine and leukorrhea), eczema, scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of lymph nodes in the neck), ulcers, etc. It is not recommended for people with deficiency of liver and kidney yin. Caution should be exercised if there is deficiency of yin in the liver and kidney.
